Situated in Durban on the east coast of South Africa, theGrindrod Shipping Training Academy is a registered establishment that conductscourses required by the marine, offshore and allied industries. The School is accreditedby SAMSA (South African Marine Safety Authority), OPITO (Oil Producing Industry Training Organisation) and recognized by the MCA.Since 1975 the School has trained both seafarers and personnel for shore basedsectors of trade and started offshore training in 2017.The school is not restricted by the Prospectus and coursescan be tailor-made to suit requirements.
