No longer in operation

Placed into service in 1856 on Cape Race, Nfld this steel tower served till 1907 when it was moved to Cape North on the NE tip of Cape Breton. Retired in 1978 this lighthouse can now be seen at the Museum of Science & Technology in Ottawa, ON.

Very difficult to get access as all roads leading to this lighthouse go through private lands

First built in the late 1700's, Pinder's Point light received several upgrades with the most recent being in 2009 when it became a historical site

Built in 1819 and a survivor of many hurricanes this light, while showing signs of wear, is still operational.

Built in 1898

So named because in the old days a ship repaired in Esquimalt was sent on a sea trial around this island before it was declared seaworthy.
