ROYAL OASIS. In June 2010, iron ore carriers Royal Oasis, Berge Atlantic, plus three others were anchored off Port Talbot UK. As Royal Oasis left the anchorage for the Pilot Station, she collided with Berge Atlantic causing damage to both ships. These pics show the torn deck & hull plating. There was also internal structural damage. Royal Oasis offloaded her iron ore cargo at Port Talbot, then sailed for Blohm & Voss Drydock in Hamburg for repair.
