Port provides services and facilities mainly to Offshore Renewables and still maintains landing for fishing and shellfish vessels. Grimsby Shipyard Services is a wholly owned subsidiary and provides ship lifts up to 200 tonnes. The Port also has the Grimsby Renewables Offshore centre (GRO Centre)  which provides bespoke offices, warehousing and craneage for the renewables industry.

Grimsby Fish Market is operational 5 days a week and is the main focus of the fish processing industry in Grimsby.
