In October 2019, Mineral Commodities Ltd (ASX: MRC), a global mining and development company with a primary focus on the development of high-grade mineral deposits within the industrial and battery minerals sectors completed the acquisition of Skaland Graphite AS. MRC is investing heavily in a low carbon, environmentally sustainable downstream process at Skaland to become the very first European producer of sustainably sourced natural anode material.
