Vava’u Volunteer Maritime Response Association (VVMRA) is an incorporated society (non-government organization) of the Kingdom of Tonga located on the island of Vava'u in the South Pacific. Using the handle "Vava’u Radio," our volunteers provide assistance to the Ministry of Police for search and rescue operations, coordinate emergency services, handle requests for marine aid, and maintain a coastal watch on VHF channel 16 and 26 in Vava’u, Tonga. We are funded through donor support and promote and provide boating and water safety training.
